This service has several main objectives which include effective, practical and environmentally friendly drilling technology to obtain clean water sources in the OP Village area, Nunkolo, South Central Timor, East Nusa Tenggara. Apart from that, it is also hoped that the application of this method can provide wider understanding and insight to the community about how to overcome the water crisis in an independent way.
In addition to benefits for the community, this research also aims to provide real experience to students who involved in this program. By involving them in practical applications in the field, they can see firsthand how the knowledge they learn can be applied in real situations and provide concrete solutions to society.
For research proponents and ITB institutions, it is hoped that this project will provide significant contribution to society in the future. This is in accordance with the tri dharma principle of higher education which includes education, research and community service. Thus, this research not only aims to produce scientific knowledge, but also to provide real benefits to society and encourage sustainable development.
This activity is useful for providing clean water with a foundation for the application of earth sciences in the form of exploration and drilling for clean water for the community in Lakat Village.
