"The Community Service (PM) activity was held on August 11, 2022. The community service program was held through a hybrid seminar and workshop with the title: From Sample to Insight - Qiagen Easy - To Use Next Generation Sequencing Solutions from Sample Preparation To Data Analysis Exclusive Workshop on Sars - COV -2 Sequencing Data Analysis. This activity besides involving presenters from KK-GBM namely Dr. Azzania Fibriani, also collaborated with Qiagen Singapore and PT. Genecraft Labs. The speaker from Qiagen Singapore is Siew Fen Lye and Chun Wei Chan. Dr. Azzania provides material about NGS Application for Development Vaccine & Therapy Diagnostics Test: Case Study SARS-COV-1, Mrs. Siew Fen Lye delivered about Qiagen Digital Insight, while Mr. Chun Wei Chan discusses genomics and clinical genomics. In addition to exposure to the material, this activity also provides bioinformatics tools-based data analysis. The activity was attended by S1, S2, S3 students from ITB and outside ITB, as well as participants from several universities and other agencies such as Labkesda West Java, Labkes Bandung City and others. This activity was attended by the participants very enthusiastically given the topic given containing material that was being discussed hotly and hands-ons that provided knowledge and bioinformatics skills that could be applied not only for SARS-COV-2 but also for other samples.
