The traditional Javanese house is an archipelago's legacy that represents the cultural values ​​and traditions of the Javanese community. Visual cultural values ​​in traditional Javanese buildings need to be understood as part of the archipelago design so that it can be utilized in an effort to develop design knowledge in accordance with the needs of development in the future. The study of traditional Javanese house buildings was conducted related to architectural characteristics in the past twenty years. These studies include types of houses, plans, construction, ornaments and esteck elements, related to the Javanese belief and cultural system and the transformation of the building. On the other hand, the house or Omah in Javanese culture is a place to form and cultivate family. In the Javanese culture system, the people of residents or living room users, in the smallest unit, namely family, is a structure based on cultural values ​​where social interaction, division of roles and responsibilities between family members. This program will include sixteen traditional Javanese vernacular houses contained in the region of Central Java Province. Secondary data is collected through literature studies. The analysis was carried out with republication, digitizing and mapping the composition of these forms and spaces for the next composition compared to and identified the patterns and tendencies. In addition, the character of the shape and composition of traditional home spaces Javanese will be analyzed regarding its usefulness in the socio-cultural context of Sundanese society.
