Activity Summary

In this discussion we will explain the perspective of how to view CSR as an effective risk management tool, and how to implement it into real life solutions. CSR without focusing on risk management is not possible, and in the end it will become ineffective. CSR is an embodiment of company responsibilities to relevant stakeholders, which includes three main dimensions, namely corporate responsibility to the public, corporate responsibility for the environment, and corporate responsibility for the growth of the company itself. We will do this study with a mixed method, namely by quantitative methods (survey-based methods) and qualitative (in-depth interview methods with business owners). With this mixed method, we hope to get comprehensive results. In the final stage, we will develop a CSR synergy model and special risk management for SMEs, then we will conduct a socialization program related to the CSR risk framework that we have formulated and strategies that can be applied by SMEs in Bandung to increase them. Their financial competencies and performance. The first output we expected is a user-friendly framework and can be replicated which can measure the risk of CSR for SMEs in Bandung. With the present output, it is expected that devotion to the community is divided into two main outputs, the first is this program will increase CSR awareness and understanding of risk management in the community, especially for SME owners in Bandung.
