Packaging products are one of the processed materials to protect other functional commodities and products. The use of packaging is not only to protect and bring a commodity, but provide information, comfort, attraction and even be able to represent product identity. Even by Andrew Dent and Leslie Sherr (2015), packaging became high-value when opening awareness for business actors on environmental preservation. However, the existence of packaging in commercial activities of small entrepreneurs has always been as ruled out even forgotten. Not infrequently farmers and even entrepreneurs still underestimate the meaning of packaging, they consider packaging only as an additional burden of production costs. As a result they tend to use makeshift packaging, such as cracked bags recycled hazardous materials, and considers packaging still as a container or wrapper. In this connection, the team proposes that fruit farmers and small-medium entrepreneurs put packaging design as consideration of post-harvest product quality, weighing a lot of local fruit potential which has been only packaged. Although so far the packaging has begun to be considered by small and medium enterprises through appeal, training, and works, but unfortunately the development is still limited to modifications at the level of display, processed forms and variants of the graphics.

The low awareness of packaging for agricultural businesses Mango Gedong Gincu made a means of storing and packaging using makeshift facilities, namely bamboo baskets or wood which made the fruit distributed and stored in open air conditions. This condition makes the agriculture the ground be easy and rotten. Even though the crop should be a mainstay commodity that can survive to the hands of consumers in fresh conditions.
