This community service is directed at increasing the dissemination of geological knowledge, especially in the realm of Geodynamics and Sedimentology in Bangka Belitung Province. The main focus of this research is to design a geotourism guidebook that not only provides in-depth information, but also explores the geological riches of the region. By focusing on tectonic, structural geology and sedimentology aspects, this research aims to provide the public and tourists with a more comprehensive understanding of the geological history, rock formations and volcanic phenomena that exist in this area.
No Just as a collection of information, this research also carries active collaboration between geologists, local government and local communities. The aim is to ensure that the geotourism guidebook produced is not only informative, but also accurate and relevant to current conditions. It is hoped that this collaboration will produce work that not only meets scientific standards, but can also be enjoyed and understood by various groups of people.
Through this effort, it is hoped that appreciation of the geological heritage of Bangka Belitung can increase. In addition, it is hoped that this research will be able to support geology education at the local level, as well as stimulate the growth of the geotourism sector to contribute to economic development at the regional level. This research activity will prioritize enriching material, both through literature studies and direct observations in the field, with a focus on geodynamics and sedimentology.
Participation by several lecturers and students from undergraduate to doctoral levels, together with involving local communities such as tour guides, local communities and school teachers, are key points. Collaboration with them is considered crucial because they are not only a source of information, but also the main actors in efforts to promote geotourism and educate the public on an ongoing basis. Thus, it is hoped that this research can open the door to a deeper understanding of the geological richness of Bangka Belitung, while strengthening the involvement and contribution of various parties in the development and preservation of the area's natural heritage.
Disseminating geological knowledge in the field of geodynamics and sedimentology to geotourism actors in the Bangka Belitung Geopark. Increasing geological scientific capacity in the field of geodynamics and sedimentology for the geotourism community in the Bangka Belitung Geopark both in terms of theory and practice in the field. Making a book about geodynamics and sedimentology as a means of education and an interpretation guide in geotourism activities at the Bangka Belitung Geopark.
Educating the geotourism community in the Ijen Geopark Area. The results of the dissemination of geological science can be applied in geotourism activities in the Ijen Geopark Area. For Indonesia, the Bangka Belitung Geopark will add to Indonesia's rich geoparks on the international stage.
