Until now, the education curriculum in Indonesia has not fully accommodated astronomy. In fact, in everyday life, we are inseparable from various astronomical phenomena. Astronomy insight is very important to understand. Not only to understand natural phenomena, but also to form mindset, develop analytical skills, increase curiosity, form appreciation, imagination, and creativity, and increase environmental awareness and understand our role as part of the extensive universe. >
Year 2023 is a special year, because almost all regions of Indonesia will be able to observe the phenomenon of a solar eclipse. This event was highly anticipated not only by astronomers, but also by the people of Indonesia. However, astronomical information media is still very limited and often there is information that is confusing. Therefore, the Astronomy Expertise Group together with the Bosscha ITB Observatory made observations with a partial solar eclipse at the Bosscha ITB Observatory, Lembang and at the ITB Campus. This activity invited more than 750 people consisting of school students, local residents, and ITB academic community and watched online by more than 5300 general public. In addition, in the community service activities, hands-ons and children's books are made in collaboration with the visual communication design of FSRD ITB. & Nbsp;
This educational activity received a very good welcome and enthusiasm from the participants. With this activity, it is expected that the community will better understand & nbsp; Astronomy, as well as increasing the interests and interests of the community, especially the younger generation, towards science.

School students and the community around the Bosscha observatory get education and can enjoy observations with solar eclipses. Solar eclipse and children's books can be downloaded for free and can be used in the long run. This education is very important to increase the interests and interests of the community, especially the younger generation, towards science.
