Activity Summary

ABSTRACT

Facilitation activities for strengthening village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in Sarimukti Village, Garut Regency, aim to increase the institutional capacity of BUMDes so that they are able to manage local resources optimally and sustainable. The main output of this activity is a participatory mapping module and BUMDes business feasibility study, which was designed through a collaborative approach with village communities. The activity process includes intensive training and assistance in mapping village potential, data analysis, and preparing a business plan that can be implemented. The results of the activity show that active community involvement is able to produce comprehensive data regarding local potential and needs, as well as formulating business plans based on superior potential. The resulting module is expected to become an operational guide for BUMDes in improving community welfare through the development of productive businesses based on local wisdom.
