Activity Summary

When the young people actively participate, the city means accommodating competencies and their chances of practicing to implement their rights to more democratic communities. Young citizen participation also increases self-development related to city planning both from the side of knowledge and in terms of practical skills (checkoway, 2011). The potential of young people, in accordance with the results of identification in the Y-Plan.Bdg (BCCF, 2014) program, is the ability to effectively participate in community and environmental development, both physically and socially, where they live and learn. In addition, their unique and very personal perspective on the environment is able to provide positive and innovative solutions. On the other hand, the development of digital technology is currently very close to their daily lives. Utilization of digital technology is considered able to maximize the potential of young citizens aged equivalent to high school / equivalent in the participation of the planning / management of Bandung in engaging, rewarding and fun. The surrounding area of ​​the school is a potential place to accommodate the participation of young citizens / students in the planning of green infrastructure development and mapping management problems. The form of community service activities is in the form of student assistance through consultancy and partnerships in planning / management of green infrastructure in the environment of their school. This community service also realizes the transfer of science and technology, especially in the aspects of community development and urban environment management with a collaborative approach (between communities, young people, governments and colleges) to partners, namely high school students / equivalent, BCCF and elements of the city of Bandung. In addition, this community service activity contributes to the development of the concept of river region development with a collaborative approach which is part of the PWD KK Map Road. The output achieved in this activity is the application of technology in the form of techniques / methods of planning / management of green infrastructure with a collaborative approach. Other outputs produced are socialization of program results in the form of articles on seminars / conferences or mass media. The target in this community service is (1) the realized digital application for mentoring media; (2) the creation of assisted areas in high school in the city of Bandung; (3) the development of partnerships between the academic world and government institutions; (4) The development of development priorities for the development of the development empowerment program (PIPPK).
