In 2021, the ITB Water Resources Development Center (PPSDA), Flooducation Community Service (PM) which is a community education activity for flood disaster mitigation aimed at increasing the understanding and assessment of flood disaster risk in the community. In this activity, the targeted community is a community, including maintaining the hall that focuses on the field of education and disaster preparedness, especially floods and the Caah Guard which focuses on flood emergency response. Flooduction activities have also identified the needs in Majalaya District in an effort to increase community resilience to flood disasters. Mapping of community-based risk and strengthening the monitoring system for early flood warnings are aspects that need to be followed up from the results of the community service activities. As an effort in realizing a sustainable community service activity in PPSDA ITB, especially in the topic of disaster in Majalaya District, this year, it was proposed for Force (Flood Resilience Community Enchancement) which is an activity to increase community resilience to flooding. This activity is a PPSDA ITB business in realizing a sub -district leading to disaster as part of the target of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) to achieve a disaster resilient Indonesia 2045. This PM Force activity aims to increase the resilience of flooding in Majalaya District through the development of community -based flood risk maps and strengthening flood monitoring systems. Training on the introduction of community -based flood risk maps was carried out to increase community capacity while in terms of strengthening the monitoring system, CCTV installation was carried out in flood areas at the Cidawolong River. With these activities, the toughness of the community in Majalaya District against flooding can be increased.
