Floods are the most detrimental disaster in Indonesia. Based on BNPB data ( http://dibi.bnpb.go.id/ ), floods have the number of events and the number of people affected the largest compared to other disasters (above 30 %). The Atmospheric Science Expertise Group (KKSA) already has a roadmap regarding the Flood Early Warning System.
This year the community service scheme will expand the meteorological network that has been built in Majalaya distributed in the Bandung Basin. This activity will be harmonized with a field lecture activity that will be held this year. The objectives of this activity include building observation networks, building a retrieval system and data storage, designing weather front-end information systems, and disseminating information systems.
This PKM activity, focuses on hydrometeorological observation subsystems. Hydrometeorological observation subsystem supplies hydrometeorological information every day. This information is also automatically disseminated through web services for real time monitoring. All of this information can be used by stakeholders to monitor the condition of hydrometeorology around the Bandung Basin.
Build a retrieval system and storage observations in the Bandung Basin; Building a network of meteorological observation in the Bandung Basin to support the early warning system of hydrometeorological disasters; Dissemination of weather observation information systems to the public and stakeholders; Designing a front-end system of weather observation information in the Bandung Basin
