Corn is one of the largest agricultural products in Indonesia. This is because corn planting is counted very fast and does not depend on the season compared to rice or oil palm fields, so that the cornfield can be found throughout the year. Because it's easy for corn production, then many corn waste production will also be a lot. The use of waste from the production of corn is still not carried out by the maximum, therefore this community service is proposed to be able to utilize corn agricultural waste as a source of solid fuel for the community. The feasibility of the benefits of corn waste will be reviewed by potential studies and characteristics of corn waste, starting from stems, leaves, midribs and humps before further research. It is hoped that through this study, data will be obtained by the potential of corn agricultural waste and distribution in Indonesia. The initial stage of the Corn Agriculture Literature Center will be conducted, search and processing of the Skunder Data, Taking and Waste Testing, analysis of agricultural waste including the design of waste processing, character testing of the waste process, and scientific writing.
This study has a target of output in the form of a scientific work that describes the potential and utilization of corn farming waste.
