Based on several sources, this type of hole damage is the most common damage in road infrastructure. Due to limited time and budget, most of these holes damage cannot be handled so that it causes widespread damage. The community as a user feels the disadvantages of this hole damage is either related to the comfort and safety of traffic. This community service activity was carried out by conducting an inventory of damage points (holes) at the location of the study study; monitoring safety conditions drive at several points / location of priority; make direct repairs to several priority locations; Monitoring and re-evaluation at the location of road repairs; and the preparation of conclusions and making scientific articles. After a survey in several Kota Bandung sub-districts, the total damage was found to reach ± 200 holes. Furthermore, monitoring returns in each location of the damage and found 44% of the hole has been fixed, 44% the condition of the hole remains the same and 12% damage is getting worse or widespread. From the driving behavior survey, the majority of vehicle maneuvers and a decrease in speed at each location of road hole damage. The majority of the vehicle behavior is carried out by motor vehicles (wheel 2) to avoid holes.

Furthermore this information was delivered to the Bandung City Public Works Office in the form of reports and analyzed and arranged in the form of scientific articles.
