Global Warming and Extreme weather that occurs and becomes increasingly Worse, it will cause an increase in sea level which worsens natural phenomena that can endanger coastal areas, such as abrasion. The coast in North Maluku Province, especially Halmahera Island is one of the coastal areas in Indonesia that is very vulnerable to abrasion. One of the businesses that can be done to protect coastal areas is to plant mangroves that are environmentally friendly and can provide new habitat for small creatures on the coast. Therefore, responding to the needs of the community and the local government of Halmahera, we propose community service activities with the theme of localization and socialization of mangrove planting in an effort to protect coastal areas, where socialization activities will specifically be aimed at schools in Halmahera. Socialization is considered important to be done in order to increase the awareness of the surrounding community, especially the younger generation, so that the activities of planting together can continue to be carried out in a sustainable manner. From this community service activity, we, together with the local government and the surrounding community, will plant mangroves and socialization about the preservation of the surrounding community. , 0); Color: RGB (0, 0, 0); font-family: -webkit-standard; font-size: medium; ">
