Activity Summary

The young generation's low interest in agricultural businesses is not only due to low incomes, but also due to limited access to land, capital and technology, making young people choose other jobs rather than becoming farmers. Stigmatization occurs: many people still think that agriculture only boils down to hoeing, so it seems dirty, dirty, outdated and poor. If this condition is left unchecked, there will be a loss of generations of farmers, so it is feared that Indonesia, as an agricultural country, has fragile food security and high dependence on other countries. Therefore, concrete steps and breakthroughs are needed to build a more advanced and modern agriculture based on innovation and technology that is capable of producing products of high economic value which will provide great opportunities to open profitable businesses. If these conditions are built in rural areas, it will certainly create improved economic conditions and will be very attractive for the younger generation to try in the agricultural sector.
