Activity Summary

Mathematics is one of the subjects that is considered a scourge for most school students, starting from the elementary level to the college level. Though good mathematical ability is very necessary to solve various problems in social life. The prestige of mathematics which is considered a lesson that is not interesting, difficult, unpleasant and can only be well understood by "smart" students is a common paradigm in society. In addition, the abilities possessed by mathematics teachers in elementary and secondary schools are often impressed as they are and sometimes even not even with educational backgrounds that study mathematics specifically.

Various programs are made to improve the ability of teachers and School students in the field of mathematics, but unfortunately these programs are often only intended for achievement channels, such as the preparation of the Olympics and/or fields of study. Whereas in a school presentation students who have very good capabilities are less than 10%, while the rest have not been worked on. This proposal is compiled to construct a model learning optimization in the field of mathematics for high school students in general, and universities in particular. This model is expected to help teachers/lecturers to increase motivation and interest of students in mathematics, thus understanding mathematics subject matter can be more easily accepted by students.

From this activity, an example of a learning module package that is expected to make a real contribution to the community, especially mathematics teachers at the middle school level and also tertiary level. Contributions given from this learning package to the development of science, especially in mathematics subjects will be realized in presentations at the city level and scientific publications at the national level.

The benefit of this program is to increase the learning motivation of high school students for mathematics which is often considered a scourge. From the testimonials some students become a spirit of learning because it turns out to be used and used to solve problems that have not been imagined. It is hoped that in the future it can improve the learning achievement of high school students.
