Activity Summary

The purpose of this activity is to prepare for diode fabrication training activities intended for vocational teachers and students with the appropriate background and prerequisites. The activities carried out are: 1. Develop and prepare a scenario of diode fabrication training, including material content, activity units, budget requirements for each participant, and training module. 2. Preparing Training Rooms in the Material Laboratory and Electronics KK Stei Process, Labtek VIII Floors 3. Training Activities Held in Laboratoium Materials and Processes in the Stei Electronics KK environment located in Labtek VIII ITB Level III. In the first months of emptying and cleaning the lab was carried out, because it was previously borrowed for the student residency place for the final assignment of the ITB Electrical Engineering Study Program. In March to July 2020, the campus was closed related to the plague of Covid 19 pandemic, so that all activities on campus could not be implemented. Even though all laboratory preparation activities for this training must be held on the ITB campus. During this time, the implementing team of this activity only completed the development of scenarios and other related matters. Since the end of August 2020, activities on campus can be carried out gradually. The following are some laboratory preparation activities for training activities that have been carried out: - Examination of materials that will be used and procurement of gas needs: Gas N2 and O2. - The examination and treatment of oxidation furnaces that will be moved from PAU to Labtek 8. The functional test of the furnace has been carried out and the furnace is functioning - Preparation for removing furnaces and assembly of devices in the laboratory. 3. The plan is then planned to transfer the furnace and assembly will be held on Sunday 3 December 2020 and then a trial will be carried out.
