Mentawai has several main problems, road infrastructure that has not yet developed results in minimal fuel supply and limited distribution. Electric power produced by PLTBM biomass (bamboo) with a capacity of 150 kWh in the matotonan has not been operational since 2022. The power plant built in 2018 stopped completely with other plants in Saliguma Village (250 KWH) and Madobag (300 kWh) . At present, PLN is helping electricity temporarily with PLN's car generators for electricity supply in the three villages. PLN has 14 PLTD power plants in Siberut with an installed capacity of 3,537 KW. Modulex has the opportunity to assist the community in carrying out the distribution of light goods, agricultural utilities and various other activities. Multifunctional concepts supported by Solar Power Plant Modules can operate independently without depending on the supply of fuel or electricity from PLTD. With adjusted battery capacity, Modulex can also function as a portable and mobile powerbank module for a variety of activities that support the productivity and resilience of energy up to mitigation or early warning of natural disasters.
Application of appropriate technology ITB which collaborates with this industry is expected to provide good benefits for the community in the Siberut Island Matotonan Village in a sustainable manner (with flexible modules) and synergize with research before and subsequently.

The results of research on human science and industrial product design can collaborate with industrial partners and create a product that can be applied directly to the community in the function of utility, security and disaster mitigation in the 3T area.
