The complexity of various ecological phenomena that occur in Pantai Bahagia Village requires a study and framework to translate them into basic data on potential environmental risks in the form of Environmental Impact Aspect Identification (IADL). However, identifying environmental impact aspects often places humans as the benchmark for the impact of environmental damage and changes that occur. Through this activity, Apung Labtek and assisted by the ITB team will initiate IADL as a whole (human and non-human) together with several parties as collaboration partners. In general, the preparation of IADLs is carried out by professionals in the field of environmental management systems, but in the activities packaged in the ‘Ecological Study–Realizing Coastal Environmental Impacts’, all parties will be involved, including local communities through a religious approach which is carried out in two directions. In this community service activity, we are collaborating with Labtek Apung, which has been active in Pantai Bahagia Village since 2021, to be the right collaboration partner, as well as the local community who are the object and main subject of environmental impacts. Through a religious approach that is close to the grass roots, it is hoped that local values (Kamil, 2023) can enrich the identification of environmental impact aspects and produce comprehensive studies to create recommendations that are appropriate and targeted by all relevant parties.

The benefits of this community service are identifying environmental problems as a whole, prioritizing main risks, increasing community awareness, and becoming the basis for preparing action plans to improve the quality of life in Pantai Bahagia Village.
