The lack of irrigation water supply results in cost losses for farmers and governments that have built irrigation areas. Tens of years ago when the irrigation area was built by the government, the river flow allowed to supply irrigation water for the rainy season and dry season with only builds. As a result of changes in land use in the upstream part of the watershed for decades, the river flow to supply irrigation water becomes unstable, flood in the rainy season and small discharge in the dry season. Thus, irrigation water is not enough to supply irrigation areas in the area that has been built. So government money to build infrastructure in irrigation areas is not useful in the dry season, and some farmers cannot plant their plants. One effort to resolve the above problem is to look for a planting pattern and optimal planting area based on water availability. In order to optimize irrigation water use to increase the benefits of agricultural products, the analysis in this study was conducted through three stages: 1) determining the best planting schedule (PS) of 6 ps alternatives based on minimum water requirements through simulation. procedure; 2) Applying the best linear programing on the PS, and maximizing the area of the plantation area that gets enough water from three Pattern and Cropping Order (PCO) scenarios, and 3) comparing each scenario in terms of planting intensity and the benefits generated. The simulation method is used to determine the optimal planting (PS) schedule in Leuwi Kuya's irrigation area by comparing 5 alternative planting schedules proposed by PS Existing (PS alternative-1). PS Optimal is evaluated based on water requirements and the availability of irrigation water. After a simulation by shifting every half months from the beginning of the planting schedule, the most optimal planting schedule is PS alternative-2 which has the smallest discharge or volume of water in a year.
