In Nunukan Regency, most of the population has extensive oil palm plantations. Palm oil processing produces waste in large and liquid forms in large quantities, around 60% of production is waste or byproducts (Mathius, 2007). The solid waste produced on palm oil processing includes empty bunches and palm shells. The waste produced has the potential to be used as a medium of growth for Merang mushrooms. The availability of abundant raw materials and the suitability of growth conditions makes the District Seimiarharis as a potential place for the development of Merang fungi cultivation. Mushrooms are one example of future food, mushrooms have many benefits including high protein content, containing anticholesterol substances, and various other mineral vitamins. Mushroom cultivation is also relatively easy and the demand is always increasing every year. The program will be carried out through the process of training and coaching so that it is expected to realize an independent business center and can increase the economic level of the community. In training activities given the cultivation material from the beginning to the end, starting from the construction of parent culture to the harvesting process. Furthermore, this program will be specialized in training for children who are interested and seriously want to continue our cultivation activities.
