The ITB community service program in 2016 was a continuation of the previous year's program, with the main purpose of preparing local human resources for Kupang Science Center. The measured output of this year's program is in the form of advanced astronomical material modules for TOT, teacher workshop modules as stub / training models at the Science Center, astronomical training material videos, and the implementation of TOT and Workshop Teachers. TOT was held on the Kupang undana campus and in Bandung. TOT activities in the form of theory and practice to equip participants who have non-astronomical backgrounds with understanding astronomical materials, as well as exposure visits to several institutions of public education service organizers (Bosscha Observatory, Geological Museum � Bandung, Lapan � Sumedang, PP Science and Technology, Sky World, Planetarium � Jakarta) To provide insight into how a public education service institution operates.
Application of Writing, Implementation of Social Concern Activities in the form of education / counseling / mentoring
In Kupang Regency (and NTT Province) there are still very minimal non-school education facilities. One of the obstacles is human resources that will carry out the function of the Science Center, especially considering that at the beginning of the establishment of the Science Center, it will more on public service functions for national observatories. Therefore resources that are trained in astronomy are a necessity that must soon be prepared.
