Rattan design carved from core rattan waste for interior accessories products such as decorative lights, frames, tableware, and interior elements several times received a positive response from the results of the exhibition in the design development workshop in the national rattan innovation center, PLnas in Palu. High skills of rattan woven techniques owned by the community if they are not accompanied by newer technology assistance to be obstacles in the form of market saturation in its development. The purpose of this study was the use of core rattan waste, preserving carving skills. The method used is through several approaches, namely conducting studies and observations of rattan types and conditions. The results of the dedication of craftsmen are trained to make home d�Cor using carved and rattan techniques as alternative materials. This activity is a facility for the community to get to know more carving design for rattan and can be shown to the wider community, especially in the Bali region because it is exhibited in the Acaran Seminyak Design Week 2019. This participation has an economic impact on rattan craftsmen in Tegalwangi, Cirebon.
