Janja Village, Lampasio District, Toli-Toli Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, is one of the villages in the 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) regions and has communicated its issues through the Desanesha application. This application serves as a bridge for communication between village heads across Indonesia and ITB experts regarding the problems faced in their respective villages. Janja Village has great potential in forest commodities (rattan, wood, bamboo, resin), mining products (gold and silica stone), and agricultural products (bananas, sweet potatoes, corn, and cassava). However, this potential has not been fully developed due to the community's limited knowledge and skills, preventing them from transforming these resources into economically valuable products, which would otherwise contribute to improving the community's welfare. To enhance the quality of human resources (HR) among the farming community in Janja Village, training has been conducted to utilize the potential of natural resources, particularly forest and agricultural products, through the 3T community service (PM) program for Eastern Indonesia, which will take place from August 16, 2024, to August 30, 2024, in Janja Village, Lampasio District, Toli-Toli Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. In addition, to obtain high economic value from processed forest and agricultural products, human resource capacity building has been implemented within a joint business group (KUB) framework in the form of a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes). KUB is a platform that facilitates its members to learn together, with a focus on the world of work and business, making them productive, creative, and innovative individuals. It also helps them develop their independence in the community through productive business activities.
