An important issue that is the background and provides the motivation for this community service activity is the level of crime in the community which is still prevalent.
The aim of this Community Service Activity is to provide training and implementation of digital technology to the community in Sadang sub-district Serang, Bandung City. The object of the activity includes community groups in one of the RTs in Sadang Serang Village, Coblong District, Bandung City. The community components targeted by this activity include Civil Defense (Hansip), RT Head, RT Secretary, Karang Taruna or parties responsible for security at the RT level.
The output and benefits of this activity are in the form of training activities on the use of online digital technology for security at the community residence level, so that it will be able to increase security in the environment where local residents live. As ITB academics, the team implementing this activity feels the need to provide moral participation and responsibility in developing the surrounding community.
The intellectual value of this activity is in the form of a contribution to society by utilizing the existence of digital media to improve security in around the residence using digital technology. The benefit for ITB, this activity will increase the capacity of community service in work units (STEI-ITB) by contributing and increasing/increasing the role of the ITB campus/academic community in the surrounding community, which also plays a role in assisting government programs in supporting the public interest.
