The Cibugel Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) has not been able to act as an economic institution capable of increasing the income of its members, let alone act as a driver of the village economy. This is caused by limited mastery of appropriate technology in processing the natural resources in the surrounding area, including marketing aspects. The Community Service Program (PM) PPMI scheme in 2024 is a continuation of the PM PPMI in 2023 which aims to provide training on Optimizing Tools for Making Bamboo Charcoal and Vinegar and Their Derivative Products to Increase the Income of BUMDes Cibugel, Cibugel District, Sumedang Regency, West Java Province. Through this PM program, it is hoped that BUMDes Cibugel in the future will be able to carry out its role as a driver of the village economy so that it can contribute to accelerating economic recovery due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
To empower the community, especially those who are members of BUMDes Cibugel and generally the community in Cibugel District. The PM's target is the formation of a small business managed by BUMDes Cibugel which is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of charcoal and bamboo vinegar derivative products.
Able to master appropriate technology in processing bamboo into charcoal and bamboo vinegar and their derivative products.
