The mining and processing process carried out is not in accordance with Good Mining Practice, of course, will have a bad impact on the environment. Heavy metal contamination in the soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water has a negative and dangerous impact because it is necessary to monitor and evaluate and reduction and removal efforts (remediation) to prevent things that do not want. However, comprehensive understanding and knowledge of geological knowledge including Geochemical Modeling Untak can determine the pattern of heavy metal dispersion. Disclusiveness of mining activities that take place in Ciseuti, Purwarkarta is interesting to be analyzed in relation to the spread of heavy metals through geochemical analysis. This research is a continuation of the 2015 LPPM Community Service Research Activities which is indicated by contaminated contamination due to mining activities. This research was aimed at evaluating geochemistry developing in two mining locations in Ciseuti (Gold Mine and Galena Mine) and mine-affected regional analysis and the possibility of spreading the extension of the mineralization location in the area. The implementation of community service covers the field of field survey in two locations that include systematic sampling of land, sediment, and rocks, land use observations, surface level identification of the area around the mine, and data collection related to social activities. The next stage of laboratory analysis in the form of chemical analysis and microscopy. The last stage is identification of geochemical environments in two mining locations with elemental migration methods, dispersion patterns, and processes that influence it.

The people of Tajursindang Village are still working on the ore mine (gold and galena) traditionally on a small scale with less attention to work safety factors. The gold processing process is also still simple using amalgamation, namely mixing ore with liquid mercury and is possible for heavy metal pollution, especially through the water media whether surface water (river and irrigation channels) and groundwater.
