Activity Summary

At the stage of the survey, data collection, observation and interview against Huntara apparatus and residents to get fundamental need information needed by Communities in each Huntara. The survey was conducted in two different regions, namely Sumur Village, Pandeglang, Banten and Waymuli, South Lampung, where the two regions were tsunami affected areas. Lampung became the selected location because assistance entering this area was more minimal than Banten. Tsunami victims in the Sumur area, Pandeglang, Banten are still status as Huntara and there has been no clarity about Huntara's planning to Huntap, while in the Waymuli area, the location of Huntap has been decided at the location of Huntara at this time. Seeing these conditions, in accordance with the objectives and objectives of ITB to contribute permanent assistance to be on target in the Waymuli area, South Lampung. The achievement of this community service program is the establishment of the tunnel structure that can be built in just less than 3 hours. Although it can be assembled in a short time, this building is intended for permanent buildings which will be used later as a communal multipurpose room. The benefits of the project built from the point of view of the community, that assistance submitted by ITB is in accordance with the needs and on target because the survey and observation process has been carried out before deciding the item to be built. In addition, the community obtains a communal-purpose building and an example of an installed wooden construction that can be built rapidly with simple technology.

Waymuli Timur is located in the Rajabasa area, South Lampung affected by the tsunami that occurred in December 2018 was caused by the collapse of the mountain Krakatau. The biggest tsunami impact struck coastal areas, so most of the coastal population loses a place to live. Waymuli Timur until now flujects towards the hill by inhabiting temporary residence (Huntara) Donated by the government. Until now, residential status is still a temporary occupancy and has not directed to remain occupancy. Help inequality distributed in the tsunami's affected area causes still there Some physical needs that have not been provided in this region. Waymuli Timur Village requires a communal space that can be used as a gathering place, learn to pray, posyandu, and other activities that can be used together which until now cannot be realized because of the lack of assistance to this location.
