Village development is an important matter aimed at realizing community independence and creating villages that have social, economic and ecological resilience. One effort that can be done is through the application of appropriate technology that has been developed in college. Most of the village of evidence, Bali is a region of agriculture and plantation, so that the sector is a superior potential. It is located close to the north coast of Bali Island, making this area a tourist area that is quite crowded. But the community in the village of evidence only depends on the sector. Utilizing agricultural and plantation products, then integrating it with the tourism sector is expected to be the right step to improve the welfare of the village community. Villages in Bali are generally still applying customary concepts taught to generation, both for the rules of social, economic, and village spatial rules. Therefore a container is needed that can collect all the information and manage it in an integrated manner to be used with the aim of advancing villages, and increasing agro-tourism. Therefore, the ITB Insig PM PM team that works with SITH ITB initiated the Banana Smart Village (BSV) development program, namely the construction of intelligent villages with banana plants, which are not seasonal plants, as the main source. This PM implementation includes village database development activities which are Continued from the Previous PM program by INSIG KK.
Application of appropriate technology
The community in the villages of evidence previously depended on the agricultural and tourism sector as a source of income. But due to the location and sufficient land conditions dry, residents can only do a maximum planting match during the season Short rain, which is about three months. The type of plant that is widely planted is cassava, corn, and watermelon. But during the dry season, the income will be decrease.
