One type of small industry of machinery and metals in the city of Bandung is the SME manufacturing industry that provides products through machining processes that can support the large Indonesian automotive industry and locally support the needs of the Bandung and surrounding areas of the industrial equipment. The growth and development of the SME manufacturing industry is still overwhelmed with enough potential problems disrupting their sustainability, some internal problems they face, namely human resource factors, working equipment conditions and equipment care systems. In general, currently most of the tooling machines used by the SME machining industry are used tooling machines that are not even known exactly the condition of the geomethranic precision so that it causes the consistency of product quality consistency produced by the production unit and the low production productivity. The main problem becomes worse due to the application of � treatment only carried out when it damaged the machines so that it accelerates the occurrence of engine damage and the decline in product accuracy. The implementation of PM in the first year gave the output module of the tooling machine that would be used for the implementation of PM in the second stage, namely in the form of direct training to SMEs in the Bandung area and its surroundings regarding the material for improving the quality of maintenance and maintenance on tooling machine facilities which included; (1) knowledge and understanding of geometry accuracy (and shape) on the machine Conventional tools and influence on product quality, (2) Introduction of measurement tools / examination of tooling machines such as test bars, dial, spirit level and so on, (3) Procedure measurement / examination accuracy geometry machine tools, (4) scheduling machine maintenance Tool.
