"The Mount Blego-Bukit Hunched area is an area that naturally has natural beauty and soil fertility. The abundance of agricultural products from this region is inseparable from the existence of Mount Blego-Bukit Humping which created a beautiful landscape and a stretch of fertile land. Land fertility in this area has been able to elevate the welfare of its people. However, the natural beauty that is owned has not been able to be optimized as a source of income for the surrounding community, especially when compared to other areas in Magetan, namely the Sarangan Lake area which has been able to make the natural beauty of the community. This fact is what drives the village head in the Mount Blego-Bukit Bukuk area, especially the Head of Hunched Village, Ngunut Village, Trosono Village and Sayutan Village to find ways to make natural potential, agro, paragliding, and also the culture of the people in this area can be more optimized in order to encourage the welfare of the community. The collaboration carried out by the Magetan Regional Government, especially the four villages in the Gunung Blego-Bukit Hunctured area with the ITB Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) then initiated community empowerment programs through the development of quality tourism in this region. The concept of quality tourism is chosen as a locomotive for tourism development in this region so that the development of tourism developed can later be felt by the community and targeting tourists who have a long-standing level of education, expenditure and long stay. The first year of this program that has been carried out has resulted, the first data base of attraction and tourist resources in four villages; Second, the formation of a tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) in the village eMapt; Third, the compilation of a thematic tour package in each village. In addition to these achievements, the weak leadership of local leadership in the village of Hunkuk causes the results in this village not as good as other villages, the still weak function of Pokdarwis institutions, still low understanding of the community of tourism is the main problem in this program."
