Many residents, especially residents in mountainous areas that use springs as water sources because the water has good quality. Hydrologically and climate, Pangalengan Village, Bandung Regency is an area that has the potential as a storage of water. One of the great potential water in the village comes from the spring of water on the slopes southwest of Mount Malabar. The scope of PM implementation includes field surveys, and laboratory analysis and manufacturing clean water facilities. Field surveys are carried out with geological mapping and eye location mapping, water discharge measurements, water sampling, survey of clean water needs, and determining the location of the construction of clean water facilities in Pangalengan Village. Based on the results of field surveys, 9 cold springs and hot springs. The nine springs are carried out on debit measurement, observation and measurement of physical conditions and chemical springs, besides that it is also built by a springs that is used by around 100 RW 21 family heads of Cinyurian Village as a source of clean water for drinking water, cooking, bathing, washing and other household needs.
Application of appropriate technology
Pangalengan Village has not yet had a water distribution map and does not have data about the quantity and quality of springs, especially the main spring springs that have been used by the residents of Pangalengan Village.
