In 2018 it was well implemented extension and mentoring activities of teachers to design and implement Math Camp. This activity involved nine teachers and eighteen students from Salman Al Farisi Bandung, SD Tunas Unggul Bandung, and the superior SD Nasywa Bandung West. Math Camp activities are designed so that students get a vehicle to expand the insight of mathematics and increase reason, creativity, and the ability to resolve mathematical problems through exploratory workshop activities and pleasant competition and uphold high sportsmanship. In addition, Math Camp can also train cooperation between Math Camp participants. The benefits of all these activities will continue to roll over (roll over) to many students if teachers / schools can implement Math Camp independently continuously in the future. But the teachers still need assistance from the ITB P2MS team as Evaluator Material, Team Work and Evaluation Process. Therefore, in 2019 the team proposed a continued community service activities with the title of assistance for implementing Math Camp Mandiri by elementary school level teachers.

In the Math Camp activity in 2018, the involvement of the team from the Mathematics and Simulation Modeling Center (P2MS ITB) in the preparation of Math Camp material was still high because the teachers turned out to still have difficulty preparing material independently. In addition, Team Work from teachers is still low so that the division of roles among the teachers does not work well.
