Activity Summary

The peak of the dry season since the last few weeks has resulted in a number of areas in Indonesia began to experience a clean water crisis. Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Council (BMKG) previously predicted this year's dry dock will be drier, following The El Nino phenomenon. El Nino is a phenomenon of seafare temperatures heats up in the Pacific Ocean in the middle to the east. Drought until the clean water crisis also struck to the West Java area, Bandung. The city of Bandung as a flower city attracted many people to come and work so that the development of Bandung became increasingly rapid. Unfortunately, the development of the city of Bandung is not accompanied by improving the quality of the environment. It happened the clean water crisis lately in the Bandung area. According to the implementing the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bandung Regency which was affected by the drought was reported by Appatarat Region to the BPBD since the period of June to mid-July. To overcome the above problems, then handling directly for Mitigation of a clean water crisis. First year, the solution offered, which is helpful utilizing river water maximally with appropriate technology, in the form of making River water filtering installation by utilizing components or materials in the dedication area. This system uses filtering up flow water which drains river water to the surface and clean water is obtained from a modified filter in such a way. This system will work automatically by utilizing the radar system and using shelter ponds. With this system the availability of clean water will be available for the community. The second alternative solution is by finding a clean water source below Surface with utilization of geophysical technology.
