This community service activity was carried out in Hoi Village, Oenino District, South Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT). The main program implemented was a geoelectric survey to map the subsurface conditions, followed by drilling to target the most promising reservoir layers. The outcome of this activity includes the construction of a borewell and filtration system to provide clean water and drinking water supplies. The target area is located in Eastern Indonesia, which currently faces challenges in accessing basic public facilities, including clean water provision. Through this community service program, it is hoped that the people of Hoi Village will have a continuous, year-round supply of clean water for their daily needs. The availability of sufficient clean water can improve the community's standard of living, aligning with the Indonesian government's development program.
The results of this activity provide a supply of clean water and ready-to-drink water for the Hoi Village community. This has a positive impact because people no longer have water problems and can save on monthly expenses for buying water at expensive prices.
