Sampah is one of the crucial problems in the population environment. Along with the development and increase of population in IKN, waste generation will also increase so that it needs to be a concern from now. As one form of its contribution to development in IKN, the LPPM ITB Ecowarrior Team conducted community empowerment in the field of waste as the first step in the application of appropriate waste technology in IKN. Located in Bukit Raya Village, Sepaku District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, community empowerment carried out in the form of a campaign to foster a culture of waste sorting, 3R TPS layouting, giving a pocket book for waste management using composting technology; Waste Bank Technology; and BSF technology, waste bank management, and TPS 3R operational training ... In addition to these activities, the LPPM ITB ECOWARRIOR team also provides assistance in the form of Viar Brand Garbage Motors, Organic Garbage Cacaging machines, and TPS 3R layouting renovation assistance. The assistance facilities provided have also been used well as a first step in managing waste in Bukit Raya Village. The Head of Bukit Raya Village and the local community hopes that this program can continue in the future to support the creation of "Smart and Green Technology" in the field of waste in IKN.
Provide input and technical and non -technical recommendations in improving waste management in Bukit Raya Village, Sepaku District, PPU Regency both for the community or stakeholder scale, area, city, and regional scale management; Propose the concept of TPS 3R design (including facilities and technology for organic waste treatment such as composting, BSF introduction, and introduction of garbage banks) in Bukit Raya Village, Sepaku District, PPU Regency as one of the waste management efforts and minimizing waste that enters the Buluminung landfill ; Conducting socialization, education, and community empowerment at the source or regional level, for example assisting and training in waste management in households, 3R TPS, compost houses, garbage banks, and the like, in this case several related samples will be chosen; Establish communication (network) with stakeholders of waste management and companies that have CSR programs that have the potential to contribute further and broader in the area, both physical and non -physical assistance to support waste management in the area can be sustainable

The design and renovation concept of Bukit Raya TPS 3R includes its operations that have implemented organic waste treatment techniques, namely composting and processing inorganic waste, namely a garbage bank that starts from each house in RT. 06 and RT. 08 Bukit Raya Village. 2. Socialization, education, and community empowerment have been carried out at the source level by assisting waste sorting in their respective homes and waste sorting campaigns at home in RT. 06 and RT. 08 Bukit Raya Village. It has also been implemented a garbage bank and composting training with traditional methods and composter bags to waste managers in Bukit Raya Village. 3. Technical and non -technical recommendations in improving waste management in Bukit Raya Village have been given to local waste managers and to the village head.
