Sukamanah Village is one of the villages that have impacted the damage to the West Java earthquake in 2009. Generally the damage experienced is damage to building structures dominated by occupancy buildings. In addition, the events of the earthquake also attacked the psychological condition of the community, namely with the emergence of trauma among the people, especially children related to emergency conditions that occurred at that time. Disaster Recovery activities took place until 2012 in accordance with the planned rehabilitation and reconstruction actions that have been prepared at the national level. However, until this year, when a study was carried out on physical recovery related to occupancy buildings, there were still many ruamh buildings that had not been built. There can still be found a group of people who have not left the refugee camps and some have a technical problem related to the reconstruction of the building. Basically the community still does not have sufficient knowledge provisions in preparing the worst conditions that might occur, in this context are natural disasters. The importance of the community to always be ready for the potential for disasters is very important to reduce the potential negative impacts that will arise.
