Indonesia as one of the largest bamboo producing countries in the world has many potential bamboo empowerment, one of its potential can be found in the bamboo musical instrument industry found in West Java. But the longer the value of bamboo musical instruments diminishes and is only used as a souvenir or souvenir. Therefore, referring to previous studies of the innovation and development of bamboo musical instruments that emphasized the exploration of shape and sound to create a variant of bamboo musical instruments with technology assistance. The result is a bamboo violin prototype that has quality like modern violin. The phenomenon of bamboo as a modern musical instrument is assisted by the existence of a bamboo community such as the Indonesian Bamboo Community (KBI) as a partner of cooperation that helps in various ways such as producing bamboo musical instruments and conducting socialization by applying the bamboo instrument (violin) into direct music shows.
