PPMI Community Service Activities in 2023 Architecture, Planning, and Development of Policy (SAPPK-ITB) conducted by KK Economic Coding System (KKSPE) is one of the activities of community empowerment collaboration in the development of the thematic creative village as one of the policies for developing potential superior village of Majalengka Regency. Adapu The purpose of this community service activity is to carry out community empowerment activities and business development of actors or handicraft business groups, especially bamboo woven handicrafts based on local resources and village superior potential. To achieve the objectives of the activity, the approach to the implementation of service activities is carried out through a participatory approach. While the operation of the implementation of activities is carried out through the Focus Discussion Group (FGD) method and workshop activities.
Based on the implementation of service activities and the condition of the village resource potential, for the development of bamboo woven craft businesses in addition to assistance in the capacity building facility of business actors in the operation Production technology and marketing network development also increases the institutional capacity of bamboo woven businesses and government support and cooperation. Based on the results of the FGD, one of the agreements that was built for the support of the village government, namely the Bamboo Woven Craft Business Development Program, will become one of the priority programs for village development. As for improving the quality of resources, it is necessary to build a collaboration of community empowerment with Higher Education in a sustainable manner and for the development of marketing networks in addition to the development of cooperation and carrying capacity of the private sector (entrepreneurs, community and media) and optimizing the potential of the Gallery Building and Bamboo Woven Production Houses. To optimize the benefits of the Gallery Building and Crafts Production House in the business development of the Bamboo Crafts Business Group, the ITB Community Service Team in collaboration with the Majelengka Regency Bappedalitbang conducted workshop activities with the theme Grand Design and Implementation of Gallery Development and Bamboo Woven Production House in Nanggerang Village. This activity was carried out at Bappedalitbang Economic and Resource Development Section with participants from representatives of related agencies/agencies including the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Manpower, Copration and UMK, Communication and Information Office, and the Tourism and Culture Office, as well as several village government representatives and handicraft business groups. Optimizing the benefit of gallery and house production houses as a vehicle for exhibition and promotion, a vehicle for production, information and education and social cultural vehicles is a potential resource for the development of craft business in encouraging the development of the community's economy.
