Nanosains Research Center and Nanotechnology of the Bandung Institute of Technology (PPNN ITB) is the superior center of Iptex which has a strong commitment to always develop research and application of advanced science for the welfare of the Indonesian people. In line with the Tri Darma Trade of Higher Education, one of the VISI PPNN is to expand the community's insight into new technologies by organizing various training, introduction, and seminars on nanotechnology. However, this approach is only effective in the academic environment and only researchers. Therefore, a special event needs to be held that can introduce nanotechnology to the general public, especially in the younger generation. One of the PPNN work programs in order to introduce nanosains nanotechnology To school students is Nano for Teens. This program is an annual program that is specifically assembled for juvenile juvenile and high school and has been going on since 2016 until 2019. The main focus of the activities nano for teens is an introduction Nanoscience and nanotechnology fields for students in junior high school (class 1.2, and 3) and high school (class 1 and 2). By understanding technology from an early age, participants are certain to get knowledge Additional knowledge and source of inspiration to make the idea and work of nanotechnology for the development of the Indonesian nation in the future. This PM activity is limited to students in middle school or high school, but there are also student alumni who take part in this activity. Activities carried out virtually through zoom meetings.

In Indonesia, nanotechnology still sounds foreign despite the mapping of nano material and nanotechnology research has been mapped by the Ministry of Trade and Industry since 2008. Not many people know the term even though the application has been found in everyday life. The lack of information and socialization adds to the loss of the Indonesian nation to mastery of nano technology. Students' insight against nanosains and nanotechnology are still minimal because of the curriculum in schools that do not support. So at the time of the introduction of nano to students given, students get new enlightenment.
