In order to increase the entrepreneurial capacity of members of the Melati Sukma Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Cidahu Village, training was provided on the development of local commodities, starting from aspects of plant cultivation, post-harvest handling, to processing into various forms of food ingredients, both materials that can be directly consumed or semi-finished materials. Apart from that, it also introduces more attractive ways of packaging products and labels that comply with the law as well as training to start marketing digitally through e-commerce. During the course of the activity, 3 visits to the village were carried out, with the following activities: (1) Meeting with community leaders and representatives of members of the Women's Farmers Group for initial socialization and determining the topic of the activity which was carried out on 15-16 June 2024 at the home of one of the members KWT Melati Sukma; (2) First session training activities with delivery of the following material: a. Group Management and Entrepreneurship; b. Quality of Raw Materials for Processed Products; c. Processed Product Packaging; and d. Introduction to Digital Marketing; which was held on 29-30 June 2024 at the Cidahu Village Hall, Pasawahan District, Kuningan Regency, which was attended by around 30 KWT Melati Sukma member participants; (3) The second session of training activities, namely the delivery of material about Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or good processing methods; implementing the practice of recognizing the types of packaging used for processed food products; as well as practices for packaging and labeling processed products made from taro, sweet potato, cassava, etc. The second training was held on 27-28 July 2024 at the Cidahu Village Hall, which was attended by around 30 participants, members of KWT Melati Sukma. From the activities that have been carried out, the results obtained are in the form of increasing the knowledge and skills of KWT Melati Sukma members in carrying out entrepreneurial activities, and skills in producing products with better packaging methods that are equipped with labels that comply with POM regulations. KWT Melati Sukma members have started carrying out their group activities by managing processed products made from local raw materials using GMP and also packaging their products well and labeling them according to regulations.
Increase knowledge and skills in processing food made from taro as raw material. Improving group management and increasing the motivation of KWT members to become entrepreneurs. Increased income of KWT Melati Sukma members to help family welfare through entrepreneurial development of processed products made from taro raw materials
Expanding the village area under KK support to implement various innovations and technologies developed by KK member lecturers. The application of innovation and technology in society can encourage lecturers to continue conducting research and service so that the results can be utilized and enjoyed by society at large with the aim of contributing to the prosperity of the Indonesian people.
