The Bandung City Government has issued a policy for processing waste at source, especially organic using Black Soldier Flies (BSF) magots. DRPM ITB through the FTSL Team, especially the Environmental Engineering Study Program and SITH, has improved the performance of organic waste processing in RW 02 Jamaras, Jatihandap Subdistrict through outreach, studying waste generation and composition, and increasing the capacity of infrastructure. Through sampling for 3 days, it was found that waste generation was 51.7 kg/day for 53 households managed by the Women's Power Sesa (Watesa) community. The Community Service Program is able to improve the performance of processing organic waste with BSF, cultivating chickens and fish with magot feed and vegetables from organic fertilizer as a form of implementing a Circular Economy.
Evaluation of the existing conditions of waste management in the study area. Improving waste management services by increasing organic waste processing capacity. Creating an independent waste management area by implementing the circular economy concept.
Increasing the organic waste processing capacity of residents of Jamaras, Jatihandap Village from initially 300 families to 600 families and utilizing organic waste so that it has a selling value to create a waste independent area.
