Workshop on Increasing Scientific Literacy for High School Teachers in Muna Regency through Creative Learning Methods
Community service workshop was held on October 12 2024 in Raha, Muna Regency, Sulawesi Southeast, Indonesia. This workshop aims to increase scientific literacy among high school teachers through creative learning methods. Apart from that, the workshop was also attended by class 12 high school students who took part in sessions to share experiences and increase high school students' motivation to study chemistry. A total of approximately 60 teachers and more than 60 students from various high schools in Muna Regency participated. The teachers and students who attended were representatives from state high schools in Muna Regency, namely from SMA Negeri 1 Raha, SMA Negeri 2 Raha, SMA Negeri 1 Lohia, SMA Negeri 1 Watoputih, SMA Negeri 1 Kontunaga and SMA Negeri 1 Napabalano.

This workshop, which was initiated by the Biochemistry and Biomolecular Engineering Expertise Group of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), responded to the challenge of improving critical, analytical and innovative thinking skills in science education in the area.
