"Workshop on Prevention and Control of Aedes Sp. to students and junior and senior high school educators to prevent and suppress the incidence of dengue fever in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Abstract Tourism Development Activities A region is a fairly complex activity, because the development of tourist destinations not only includes the development of tourism components (tourist attractions, facilities, infrastructure, transportation and hospitality), but also the development of tourism support facilities, including security. One aspect of safety is the safety of health problems. Tourists need to get certainty that the tourist destination they will visit can guarantee their health during a tour. One of the diseases that causes tourist concerns when visiting Indonesia is dengue fever. In the context of supporting the development of Labuan Bajo and its surrounding area becomes a world-class tourist destination, lecturers who are members of the Physiological Expertise Group, Animal Development and Biomedica Science, Sith- ITB conducts community service activities to arouse the participation of the people of Labuan Bajo City, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province to control dengue fever, through controlling dengue mosquito populations. This community service will be in the form of a workshop, which consists of lectures on fever disease Bleeding and controlling dengue mosquitoes, as well as the practice of controlling dengue mosquitoes, given to elementary school students in Labuan Bajo City and their assistant teachers. This activity was carried out on August 5, 2022 and was opened by Dr. Yulianus Weng, M.Kes, Deputy Regent of West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province and was followed with very enthusiastic by 20 junior/high school students and 10 accompanying teachers representing 10 elementary schools in the Labuan Bajo area. Through this activity, with the guidance of the accompanying teacher, the students are expected to be a guide to the control of dengue mosquitoes in the school environment and residence, as well as transmit how to control mosquitoes."
