Activity Summary

"The Alfa generation is children born in 2010 to 2025. The name of the Alfa generation appeared in 2005, this name was determined from the survey results held by Mark McCrindle, a social and demographic analyst. At this time this generation has entered elementary school (12 years), maybe even has entered the age of junior high school students. Children in this generation have the characteristics of adept at using technology since their childhood. Therefore they are also referred to as ""digital generation"". The impact, children of this generation are better able to expand their linguistic communication skills. Unfortunately they have a higher risk of mental health, especially anxiety and depression. One important issue that will be introduced to the Alfa generation this time is about the dangers of waste for coastal and marine ecosystems in various aspects. Alfa generation children will be introduced directly about coastal ecosystems and good waste management, as well as the activities of cleaning up waste scattered on Pangandaran Beach and sorting them so that they can be managed properly. The output of this activity is in the form of this learning method which is one of the realization of the activity ""Application of Cultural Education /Clean and Healthy Living Behavior and Environmental Awareness in Children of preschool and school age"" which is one of the realization of the National Action Plan for Sea Waste Management (RAN PSL) ."
