B3 material subjects and waste management for undergraduate programs have been introduced in the Environmental Engineering Study Program - ITB since the 1993 curriculum. Since then, these subjects are also introduced throughout the Environmental Engineering Study Program in Indonesia. This textbook is in principle based on lectures (dictates) for courses developed in ITB Environmental Engineering with the title TL-352 Hazardous and Toxic Waste Management in Curriculum-1993 at ITB, to provide the third year of this program with scientific rules and management Limbah engineering B3. In 1994, the first regulation on B3 waste management was issued in Indonesia through Government Regulation No. 19/1994. In the 1998 curriculum, this course was also introduced to the Master of Environmental Engineering program named B3 Management and Technology (B3 waste management and technology). Since the 2008 curriculum, the course name in the Environmental Engineering Program was changed to the management of hazardous and toxic materials that discussed material and waste. In developing these courses, we consider the basic concepts that must be presented in the introductory class of hazardous materials for undergraduate programs, and follow-up subjects for the Masters Program class.
