The issue of insufficient clean water in Fatukolo Village, located in the West Fatuleu District of Kupang Regency, NTT, has been effectively addressed through the implementation of water drilling and ultrafiltration systems. This significant initiative, a collaboration between ITB and the Ministry of Villages, aims to provide the community with reliable access to drinking water.
By installing hydraulic rams and ultrafiltration systems, we have alleviated the urgent clean water crisis and improved health standards. Additionally, the program empowers residents by offering extensive training in facility management. This transformative effort is making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the community, demonstrating how innovative technology can drive positive social change.
Residents no longer need to buy water at high costs, so they can allocate their income for other needs
