Mini sugar factory is an industry that is widely committed by the people of Karangsono Village, Ngunut, Kab. Tulungagung. This industry has been going on for decades down-decades. Industrial equipment used included traditional equipment and did not follow the current technological developments including sugar cane milling machines. Sugar cane milling machine is the main asset for industry players. The obstacle owned by the machine is still limited to sugar cane processing capacity and sugar cane juice. From the results of field observations, there are still no-made leftover remnants in sugar cane milling machines. The sugar cane that passes the mill roll is also not optimally destroyed. So that the produced of produced is small and only produces sugar as much as 8-9% of sugar from the sugar cane processed. The IBM team from ITB tried to do a reduction in the modification of sugar cane mill focused on the modification of the roll roll. After the testing process, the new ROLL model is able to increase the production of nira up to 40%. Sugarcane pulp has been destroyed according to the roll model. This roll model is equipped with a process of transmacting and grinding. Thus, IBM's activities have had the impact of the benefits for ITB institutions, both the IBM team and students, the contribution significantly by the IPTEX for improving the economy of Karangsono Village.
