The development of Tolajuk Village in Latimojong District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, is aimed at becoming a tourist village based on Arabica coffee plantations. This village has unique tourism potential, namely the taste of specialty coffee and an agroforestry landscape that utilizes local wisdom. This community service aims to design an agrotourism model based on Arabica coffee plantations and environmental conservation, as well as training on SOP GAP for cultivating coffee plants and SOP GHP after coffee harvest towards strengthening local entrepreneurship. This community service method consists of several stages, starting from initiation to establishing a stakeholder network, and risk mapping. The location of the activity is Luwu Regency - South Sulawesi, with the time period March to November 2024. Mapping economic, environmental and social potential
(1) For villages: Increase the potential of villages to develop into tourist villages based on Arabica coffee plantations. People are increasingly aware that geographical uniqueness, quality specialty coffee with a distinctive taste, and an agroforestry system that is harmonious with the environment are the main assets for encouraging the development of tourist villages. (2) For KK: increasing the ability of KK members in planning tourism villages based on Arabica coffee plantations and developing tourism village models to be adopted to other villages. Also collaboration with other KK at SAPPK (3) For Faculties (FSRD): Designing tourist villages adds to the knowledge base for developing designs, for example DKV develops materials for promoting tourist villages, as well as other study programs in developing unique souvenirs from each tourist village (4) For ITB: ITB is more appreciated in the regions, ITB develops more appropriate technology to increase village economic potential, and ITB collaborates more with regional governments (districts/cities) to increase regional progress (5) For global: The potential for Latimojong coffee to become an attractive commodity for trade between districts and investors for export. This is due to the quality of specialty coffee with distinctive flavors such as flowery-coffee blossom, fruity-lemony, star fruit aroma, after taste (Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute, 2023).
