Activity Summary

The GL-1 National Glider project that has been started since 2014 aims to design and create an artificial first-made glider. GLIDER GL-1 is a plane laying single-seat medium performance whose structure is made of composite material. This aircraft has the function as a sports plane and flying flying competition, and can be developed as an experimental aircraft for research in various fields, especially the aerodynamics (aerodynamics, structure, flying mechanics) and meteorology, can even be developed for surveillance purposes . GLIDER GLIDER PANTS have been made Purotologan Pengotwaran 1: 2, and has been carried out a flight test for the Purotwaran aircraft last year. Currently the Detail Design process is being carried out for the manufacture of full-scale Purpower GL-1 gliders. As part of the process, the GLID-1 glider's control system needs to be designed and made so that the aircraft can fulfill Design Requirements and Objectives (DRO_, especially in the aspects of handling qualities. This study aims to design and create Iron Bird, a work model of the GLIDER GLID-1 aircraft control system. In addition, it is also to implement the design of the control system equipment in the full-scale Purpower of GL-1 National Glider aircraft.
